Individual Areas

While the name HANCOCK PARK is often used to refer to the entire area, there are actually five individual neighborhoods in the area as listed below:

Hancock Park is a neighborhood of approximately 1200 homes between Melrose Avenue to the north and Wilshire Boulevard to the south and Highland Avenue to the west and Rossmore Avenue to the east. It is an  HPOZ…Historical Preservation Overlay Zone.

Windsor Square is a neighborhood of approximately 1100 homes between Beverly Boulevard to the north and Wilshire Boulevard to the south and Arden Boulevard to the west and Van Ness Avenue to the east. It is an HPOZ.

Fremont Place is a private gated community of 73 homes between Wilshire Boulevard to the north and Olympic Boulevard to the south.

Brookside is a neighborhood of approximately 400 homes between Wilshire Boulevard to the north and Olympic Boulevard to the south and Highland Avenue to the west and Muirfield Road to the east.

Windsor Village is a neighborhood of approximately 300 homes roughly bounded by Wilshire Boulevard to the north and Olympic Boulevard to the south and Lucerne Boulevard to the west and Crenshaw Boulevard to the east. It recently became an HPOZ.
