While they will not be set up for Summer School, they will be able to take families around to see the facilities they offer for their Summer Program. Moscow Circus star Gregory Popovich performs with a talented cast of cats and dogs all rescued from shelters, in a family-friendly show featuring comedy, juggling, acrobatics and amazing animal stunts and skits. The frisky felines and clever canines jump through hoops, swing on trapezes and show off their various talents. In addition to the dogs and cats, look for special appearances by a variety of other animals, including parrots, mice and geese. Popovich and his pals have been seen on The Tonight Show, were finalists on America’s Got Talent, and have their own hit show on the Las Vegas strip.

LACMA’s Boone Children Gallery Offers Story Time and Drawing

The Boone Children’s Gallery, located in the Hammer Building, is a place for kids and families to learn about brush painting and art from Korea and China. Join them for Story Time every Monday and Friday at 2 pm. In the Korean art galleries, staff read Korean and Chinese folk tales and age-appropriate books on art and culture. Families are made comfortable in this gallery setting and draw connections between the art in the galleries and the art they may create in the Boone Children’s Gallery.

Admission is always free. Pick up your free ticket at the box office.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday—11 am to 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday—10 am to 5 pm
Closed Wednesdays
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
